The article says she works part time:

She also is allowed to earn £125 a week from a job on the side but she is mindful not to work more than 16 hours a week so her benefits continue to roll in boosting her weekly income to £400.

>>>“...fell pregnant.” >>>

That phrase also gets me, too.

I guess she slipped on an icy sidewalk and got pregnant. Ladies, beware of icy sidewalks.

She slipped on a banana peel and landed on a random penis that happened to be lying about, startling it.

I am trying to figure out how she is living large on 1000 euros a month.

The article quotes British Pound £, not Euros.

1 British pound sterling = 1.5864 US dollars

It’s just a British expression. We say “get pregnant,” they say “fell pregnant.” Same difference.

Maybe the “lifestyle” by which she “fell pregnant” would give a clue to additional income.

But I read an article saying welfare queens are a myth so it’s okay.

This reminds me of when we saw a Possum eating from the trashcan out back. As kids, my sister and I thought it was cute, so we talked our mom into letting us save up the food scraps every day and put them in a big bowl out back to feed the possum. We would even add food specifically bought to ‘feed the animals’ ...

Long story short: within a few weeks of doing this there were dozens of creatures showing up for the food, turning over the trash cans, and generally crapping all over the place.

What does it say about the shabby third world status of the UK that the equivalent of $21K per year is considered ‘lavish’?

And you can be sure she’s telling all her friends back home!

Next up: The Romanians and Bulgarians later this year. Millions of them.

The UK gov doesn’t have the guts to do anything about it, either. Other than using a cheap cop-out like blaming EU rules. (Much like the Dutch, French, German etc. govs.) Which is a load of crap because the EU does not have one single person to forcibly enforce any of their BS ‘rules’.

It is not a far leap for them to mandate abortion for those who conceive illegitimate or unwanted children as a cost saving measure.

Impossible. UK is even farther left than the US, offering multiple benefits to muslims' plural wives and children in multiple households, although they are going bankrupt like the rest of socialist Europe.
