God bless her! My sweet Pug Jack lived to almost 17 years, too. I wish our dogs lived longer.
I also wished they lived longer and hope we'll get to see them again "on the other side."
Gee, my Rocket died at 17 as well. He lived for three years on borrowed time, and he was and is my favorite cat forever.
