“I bet that will be a pretty boring job. I imagine this will never happen in Newtown again.”

It will be a boring job, and likely will never see a act of violence, but is it because of the guard, or what. In my opinion the guard is like having insurance, you hope you never have to use it, but you are glad when something does happen and you have it.

We have a large unemployment issue in the US, this is a job creator, with benefits. One large benefit is you get to be a role model for the children.

Since the liberals have screwed up this country with their lack of enforcement, liberal judges letting criminals off and all the other stuff the liberals have done and are doing to this country, this is one of the consequences, now we have to have armed guards everywhere.

It's sad really, I remember a time when we didn’t lock the doors when we went to the store, when it was hot we left the door open at night. Different times for sure, be we must adapt.

For retired people, it would be great. I imagine when all the legal stuff gets straightened out, we will see more guards in schools. Right now, I think the liability aspects of this have to be ironed out.

I don’t lock my car and I leave the door and windows open.
