Down over 50% in the last year. JCP angered a lot of social conservatives (including me) with their homo pandering but that is not why their share price is down. The reason is they quit having sales and shoppers bought elsewhere.

Yeah, I wish the companies would cave to conservative pressure but it'll never happen. Penneys had very little (if anything)to do with Ellen and everything to do with crappy management.
I currently have six grandsons involved in Scouts. I would gladly sponsor all of them whatever amount the AT&T's and ExxonMobils of the corporate world take away in the name of political correctness.
Additionally, most of their parents could pick up the slack so my money could go to some poorer kids.
Please God let us be so lucky.

To be fair, JCP stopped having sales - but they also lowered everyday prices drastically.
The American consumer, brainwashed and unable to think for themselves, thought they were getting screwed.
