Freeh said Sandusky's conduct was in part a result of the school's lack of transparency, which stemmed from a "failure of governance" on the part of officials and the board of trustees.

And btw -- let's deal with Louies's lie here:

He didn't throw them all in the same boat. He didn't single out members of the Board as he did members of the administration.

And he goes on to accuse Spanier, Schulz, Curley, and Paterno in his report of a "cover-up" -- not a "failure of governance".

Louie knows very well that "cover-ups" are part of "governance" as he has been part of a lot of cover-ups in his years in government, and this report of his was one as well.

"Failure of governance" is what Louie reserved for the Trustees. It's politi-speak that means "they weren't part of the cover-up".

These are the same Trustees who approved Sandusky's retirement agreement and gave his charity a sweetheart deal to stay on campus. Is that "failure of governance" or contribution to the delinquency of a child molester.

You should quit while you're behind. You're only digging Louie a deeper hole.
