I like it! Looks like it could be applied to lots of other situations besides the SOTU.

I don’t think I’ve watched a single SOTU address by Obama. What’s the point? He’s just lecturing, lying, and being a general dictatorial ass. I have an unwatched “Walking Dead” episode and “Aliens: Colonial Marines” for Xbox to keep me busy tonight.

No. Can’t stand to listen to him for 2 minutes. If I agreed with everything he said, I’d still want to put a tack in his chair.

I know there will be some brave FReepers with strong constitutions who will be watching it, along with a live thread. I’ll just skim the live thread tomorrow to see if there’s anything I missed (probably not). And thanks in advance to you on the live thread!!

I will be cleaning my house tonight after I get done with a church activity.
No interest in watching his blowhard spout his nonsense. I honestly wouldn't watch a conservative prez speak either.

All politicians are untrustworthy in my opinion. But Obama is an a enemy (enema?) of the United States; that sets him apart.

We are very selective today on what we allow to be viewed on TV in our home.

ANYTHING obama is not welcome. It’s great. Peaceful, serene and cleansing.

“I can handle Rubio...It’s the Asshat that precedes him. I guess I could mute His Lameness.”

I was just thinking - maybe I could take a hydrocodone pain pill (I have them) and drink a Corona Light beer right after taking the pill, then I could get through Hussein’s speech (which I want to hear (again, knowing my enemy) but be numb while listening), then listen to Rubio.

“I’ll be watching Westminster KC, not The Mutt.”

Shoot, I briefly forgot that dog show = I watched it last night - yes, I’m going to watch it tonight. I’ll watch the Hussein speech re-run later tonight.

One of my wives best friends was in the Hound Group last night with the 15” Beagle. It is the first puppy she EVER bred. Unfortunetly, she did not make the cut. She was very nervous. However, it is a huge thing for an owner, breeder, handler like her/us just to win the breed when you are up against a bunch of high paid professional handlers.

We chose to stay home this year. My wife did not like the judge. It is a fun show to go to IF you are not showing. Showing at the Garden and staying in NYC is very expensive.
$200/night or more for hotel. $45/day to park. Dinner out is $150 for two. etc, etc. Atleast this year the breed judging was done on the west river at the Piers. The benching area off the floor of the Garden is extremely crowded and small. It is also a bench show, which means you need to stay with your dog/bitch the day you are showing. Rich people will hire a security gard to watch their pup so that they can leave.
