If it had been an Italian cruise line the crew would have abandoned ship by now, leaving the passengers behind.

Who is going to get on a bus for a long trip to N.O. or Galveston after their experience? I want A SHOWER NOW and a proper meal ...

*****

Amen to that. I’d get a cab and head for the nearest hotel then a plane ticket or car rental home. I went on one cruise and hated it! Never again.

I have just one question.

Why werent they putting the sewage over the side of the boat? Why were they not putting potties out doors with privacy screens and then pitching it overboard?

I dont get it. A whole ocean out there and a big emergency.

Because dumping it overboard would probably result in fines for pollution.

Risking people's lives by exposing them to raw sewage is a poor thing to do.

Regulatory bureaucracies that work in this country should be eliminated.

That's the brutal (but not as brutal as your Matagorda Bay)Mobile Bay ship channel showing at the live feed.

10 knot north wind dragging the dead weight = little to no forward movement. Without the building wind, at least a 10 hour tow from Fort Morgan to Brookley Field.

The west shore is almost close enough to swim for it — but just almost.

“Risking people’s lives by exposing them to raw sewage is a poor thing to do.”

See that red bag? Its a biohazard bag. Certainly not optimum but not any different then thousands of people use while camping.

Can’t disagree about the bureaucracies though.

Absolutely, my wife can’t understand why I don’t want to go cruising but I tell her that I cruised for about nine months once courtesy of Uncle and I am all caught up on cruising. I was not claustrophobic then but I am now.

Wind blowing it back at you or dumping on your neighbors head?

Maybe they did on the “POOP” deck.

Apparently it is a floating sewer. It's a floating pigsty.

Imagine living in a densely packed “eco” city when the power goes out. Yep, something like this.<<<
