Breaking: MN Democrats Introduce Law to Confiscate Guns… Using Same Language as MO Democrats
Gateway Pundit ^ | 2/14/13 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 02/14/2013 5:53:36 PM PST by Nachum

THIS IS AN ORGANIZED NATIONAL EFFORT FOLKS…… This is not a coincidence. It is a concerted effort.

Missouri Democrats are pushing a bill to confiscate guns giving gun owners 90 days to turn in their weapons. Minnesota Democrats are pushing the same bill.

Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals this week. Gun owners will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed. Dana Loesch has more details.

Here is the language:

4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:

(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

Arguably, it was a second war for independence that was lost.

Arguably MrB?

And we should repeat this at 3200 fps, if necessary, until the idea sinks into their ignorant skulls.

Did you see Remengton's new 17 mag cartridge? 3000 fps rim fire.

“Remember who the socialist are in your States that brought this Country to this point!”

Great line! That’s right. They think we don’t take our freedom very seriously. They think we’ll forget who’s trying to take it from us. Dorner should be a wake up call to the tyrants.

This will completely fail in Mo. Mn will be interesting. I think it’ll fail but that’s been a blue state for a while....with a lot of red people. Mn is not the same as NY.

That would be neat, but how fast does that drop off past 100 yrds?

Was thinking for my next purchase, aside from a carry pistol for my beloved Wife, was going to be something truly long range. Either .338 LM or a .50 BMG match.

Maybe they’re trying to create a diaspora of conservatives from blue states. Which will inevitability destroy the Red states they migrate to. A “conservative” in California is a bed wetting liberal in Oklahoma.

There is a review here at Ammo Review.

Looks to be something to shoot for :)

The velocity boost should also translate to more impressive terminal performance at longer ranges. Though the .17 HMR has proven to be a very accurate round, its knockdown power on even moderate-size prairie dogs at 100 yards is just so-so.

Meh...

Nosler 225gr Accubond zeroed @ 200 only drifts about 1.75" in a 10PMH 90 degree crossing wind. It doesn't drift as much as this .17 until around the 375 yrd mark. At 500 yrds it's about a 37" drop and still cooking along at about 2200 fps carrying about 3300 ft-lbs of energy.

Zero it for 400 and it stretched to a 1000 yrds easily. It'd work great on a p-dog. Better on large thin skinned game...

For a smaller round, I have an accurized AR that prints clover leafs at 100. It's almost a BR rifle at this point and "tactically" useless. I have other toys for that.

Why? Because they can. Who’s gonna stop em? It has been their wet-dream for decades and now they’re finally getting all of their fondest wishes come true...and all thanks to King Barry.

And besides.....nobody has stopped them from ramming Obamacare down our throats and ruining THE best healthcare system in the world. Nobody has stopped them from, once again, attempting to gut our defenses and the US military. And nobody has stopped them from running up our national debt, devaluing our dollar and dragging our economy over the cliff towards total financial collapse. I’m quite sure they think, by now, that they can do anything they please. And why wouldn’t they? It’s looking more and more like they’re correct in that thinking.

“Why are they doing this?”

IIUC there’s a lot of blowback in NY... apparently talks of militia response to confiscation. (Wish I had the links for those.)

The problem is that it started in NY, peopel balked abo hte law, but eventually succumbed- and hte coutnry said ‘We;;, new is gone- nothin we can do abotu that statwe now3’

Then MO did the same things, peopel said ‘Well, ok, thaqt state is goen too-” then MN did the same- and hte people said ‘Well, ok, that state is gone too- nuthin we can do about it I guess’ then another state, then another state, then anotgher... on and on it goes until noone has the right to own guns and everyoen who does is now a felon

MO and MN are just the ‘first’ to violate our rights, but it WILL spread- one state at a time with peopel saying’ ‘ That will NEVER happen in my state’ even as state after state bans guns and makes felons out of law abidign citizens

IF MO and MN go through with htis- then the ONLY thing that can be doen to reverse it is to send a VERY clear message to these pukes that in ‘no uncertain terms will we EVER give up our guns, and if the govenrment wants them, they will have to shoot to kill because we will NEVER give up our guns- this will HAVE to be a strogn show of force/resistence- otherwise, a few isolated incidences of resistence will NOT do a damn thing to divert the left from trampling our rights-

State govenrments ARE declarign war on law abidign citizens- NO logner are they ‘testing hte waters’- they are pulling an all out assault on our freedoms and shovign it in our faces and darign ANYONE to stand up agaisnt htem

the FACT is that these cowaerds in office and lqw enforcement NEVER take guns away from gang members and htugs, even htough they have literally 1000’s of gun laws to do so- so they cower from the gangs, and turn aroudn and ppick on the defenseless law abiding citizens knowing that the majority will isntantly give up their rights when facign prison terms for resistence-

The cowards in office can’t fix the problem of gun violence, and they can NOT protect our kids in ‘gun free zones’, so what do they do? They cover up the FACT that they can’t protect uas or our kids, and they ATTACK law abidign citizens!!! Whty? Because most law abidign citizens will NOT break the ‘law’ no matter how severely that law trampels our constitutional rights- These cowards in office are pickign on thsoe who have no choice but to obey because they don’t want to becoem felons-

[[They are organized, coordinated, and determined. They are also arrogant and overconfident and this can be used against them. Get politicians on the record supporting this, they can be subsequently defeated.]]

That is no longer an effective means of ‘defeat’ and infact is what the left HOPES the right will do- anythign but resistence- the damage will already be doen and will NEVER be undone ocne it’s begun- The left has declared war on law abidign citizens- they no logner care abotu beign our representativers, nor do they care abotu bringign such issues to the floor for concideration by hte public any longer- they are simply arrogantly takign our rights away- votign them out is nol ogner an effective means of protecting our constitutional rights- again, the damage will already be done

[[For real, just crank up the list if azzholes that are pushing this, buy airtime on local radio stations and just start reading the list]]

Perhaps even lsit hteir hoems, addresses, work schedules etc- and whether or not they have a gun in their home- See how they like it-

[[Of course it is~! This is how socialists work it.
the Delphi technique writ large.
Pass it somewhere, anywhere, then build on it until
it seems like an unstoppable trend.]]

PRECISELY! They began in NY- it’s already a ‘law’- and now you are goign to see it spread liek a cancer all across America- soem states ‘may back down’ IF they get enouygh opposition and resistence, however, they will simply put it on the back burner UNTIL more andm ore states pass their gun confiscation laws, claiming ‘Al lthese other states have doen so, and we must too... For your own protection”

That is PRECISELY why it was so important to stop NY in it’s tracks- but alas- they have NOT been stopped, the ball is rolling, and America WILL get steamrolled now that the unstoppable ball is rolling- the ONLY thing that will stop it? Lawful armed resistance- it will be lawful because when government no logner cares to uphold it’s own constitution, then it’;s up to the peopel to do so for their own protection- The States are unlawfully confiscating our firearms- it’s no logner an effective means of resistance waitign two years to ‘vote them out’ (These folks are NOT gettign voted out anyhow!!! these states keep votign htem back in)
