Always sounds good at first, but you know that within moments of being signed, a left-leaning Court would overturn it over some kind of lack of representation or 2nd-class citizen argument. The illegals would be officially legalized and voting within the very next election. Game over.
Texas becomes a blue-state, and the USA comes under a one-party, statist rule for decades, just like it was for so long in Mexico (although it’s arguable getting at that point already, with the Dems and GOP-E colluding like they do for the benefit of the ruling-class establishment). Just what they want, to finally destroy the remaining power and voice of the pro-Constitution conservatives that they regard as such an impedement to their utopian designs.
