Emphasis mine. Sure the source may be Australian but it looks like this will apply to us as well. Now why on earth would American psychiatrists wish to see more people classified with mental disorders? Hmm... I can think of a few reasons.

Anyways, stepping out for a little while so don't think I just posted and ran.

And, not too shocking that The Culture of Death would want us all to get over deaths as quickly as possible.

See a Priest, get religion, pray.

Forget the shrink.!

He will ask you “How does that make you feel?”, charge huge fees for continuous visits, put you on mind altering meeds, and take your guns.

Psychiatrists to brand grief lasting longer than two weeks a mental illness

It used to be anywhere from a year to two years of morning. Six months was an absolute minimum and you can be sure people would whisper about your lack of proper sentiment.

Just speaking from personal experience and extensive conversations with perhaps one hundred other parents whose kids got killed in combat, it takes 2-3 years to come around a bit. Maybe four years and the clothes fit, thought not well.

There is a reason that in the olden days the official time of mourning was one year.

The same thing will happen here. Your spouse dies, and you grieve more than two weeks then they will take your guns if you have any.

Everything in this world is now about power, money, and control.

Psychiatrists are how the gulag operated and the Stasi....You can make people “think” they are mentally ill. It is actually quite easy.

To allow strangers to label people on “soft” science is evil. Most psychiatry is bogus-—many psychiatrists are mentally ill and is why they go into the business. Good ones are few—and they can help....but most are “Whores of the Court” and bought and paid for by some drug company or political agenda.

It is how the APA is saying that sodomizing boys is “good” for them—like Rush brought up last month. The homosexual agenda is to make people think Good is Evil and Evil is Good and Up is Down.

It is how the APA took homosexual acts off of the mental illness list-—from political pressure—no hard science. In fact, the vile use of the body defies science and Truth. To promote the idea in “Pride” in sodomy in schools is destroying the Logic of children. They will be conditioned into insane “thinking”-—it is why liberals are mentally ill. They are not logical and can’t process the Truth.

It is insanity and will collapse culture-—to collapse Truth and destroy the concept of Laws of Nature (basis of USA). Psychiatry hides the Truth and labels—which is Marxist at its core. They destroy the concept of Virtue and Free Will-—which is necessary for Freedom and belief in God.

Where does this put Charlie? He's had a good deal of grief since 1950, and still has it...

Yet another expample of just how trivial the members of our society and its leaders have become. I still think of my daughter who died as a child thirty years ago. True I have not taken to bed; but I would say I still mourn her and hope that I will see her again. Their position is NONSENSE!

I love Psychiatrists, don't you? I mean, come on! They prescribe wonderful drugs for anyone and anybody! It is a shame that many of the drugs cause so many maniacal mass murders, but, what the hell?.....sorry, I need more Soma...I'll be resting for awhile....

Grief is normal and we each deal with it our own way. If someone feels they need help with it, that is their way to deal. I lost my husband of 54 years and turned down my primary doctor’s offer of anti-depressents and I did just fine. I still miss him after 3 years but I am certainly not in a state of depression and do not believe that I was.
Church, family, friends and music did much to ease the loss, and relocation was also a big help. That’s what worked for me. But I know people who have been “on the couch” following the loss of a loved one. I believe it
may be various issues and not grief alone.
