I used to play the game with the headphones unplugged just to watch our one cat [recently deceased] go bonkers over the screams of the AI pilots as you shot them down.
Sorry for your loss :( .. but would love to see vids like that (I am sure there are many out there... could give many of us here laughing vids for hours :D)..
Only pet I’ve owned was a ferrot, but he was too smart to be concerned about games :p
