First and foremost, no matter their political persuasion, we can not, and will not cut funds for presidential protection. We have an obligation to protect our President, and his family.
I recall that Matthews was silent when the left speculated about Bush 43 being assassinated. So, his call for private prohibition of some or all firearms is not about firearms but about protecting presidents he supports.

....I do believe the scandals are piling up at such a rapid rate that Matthews and his ilk are starting to sweat. Where do they go when these two grifters are exposed and the pop culture “Kardashianized” American public decide to turn on the Obama’s?
Some days I just think we Conservatives are so screwed that we have no where to go—because, let's face it—what we are selling: Personal responsibility—is not as fun as Obamaphones and Obamastash and “cool” Preezee Obamasteezy....that combined with the NewPravda....disheartening.
But when I heard that Mooch hijacked the Oscars? I think that was a game changer....We've all seen this before. I'm feeling pretty confident that the grifters are going to be exposed, pretty soon now...and it's going to get ugly.
