DENVER - Colorado gun sales have been at an all-time high over the past three months, and the increase is a direct result of gun control debates.
The mere discussion of a ban on assault rifles in particular is flooding the state with assault rifles.
Richard Taylor, manager of The Firing Line in Aurora, is one of several gun dealers in the metro area who say they could sell many more military-style assault rifles than they have been -- if they could get enough of the guns to satisfy demand.
We have had a tremendous run in the past three months, Taylor told CALL7 Investigators. "As soon as they mentioned the possibility of some kind of a ban on assault weapons, thats when it really hit.
Records from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation support Taylors observations.

I'd be willing to bet that Richard Taylor didn't refer to them as "assault rifles."
Hickenloofer is a doosh! All state demonrats are doooshes. This State is fooked-with-a-T.
Deny. Defy. Do not Comply!
What needs to happen is 1 million Coloradans march on the capitol, drag Gov. Hickenlooper and all the other Donkey legislators out of their cushy offices, tar and feather them, and serve them term limits like horse thieves in the 1800’s. Then, hold a special election to put in place an executive and legislature with the first objective to eliminate ALL onerous CO firearms laws. If the black robed Mafia don’t like it, remind them what happened to the prior governor and his cronies who aren’t around any longer.
Just signed. Thanks.
Yep--give credit where credit's due.
Occupy their offices like the goonion thugs did in Wisconsin.
Thank you.
