Meanwhile, Debbie Wassername Schmidt’s staffers can’t afford a decent baked lobster dinner, anymore.

$200,000,000 tax dollars taken from US citizens and given, no strings attached, to Jordanian Muslims.

For once he is standing by his own words, to stand behind Muslims when push comes to shove.

Wouldn’t it be just a plain old riot if...

if Jordan, faced with a budget crunch, is now able to keep open to public tours and school groups the Presidential Palace in Amman. And, what a coincidink... their smaller towered airports {Aqaba (OJAM), Assab (OJHR), Azraq (OJ40), Dayanah (OJHF), Mafraq (OJMF) and the other airport in Amman, the Civil airport (OJAM)} will now be able to remain fully staffed and open for VFR/IFR operations?

But we can close 149 ATC towers in the United States.

Exactly. And slash our own military to the bone.

Not one more dime of foreign aid until we get our own house in fiscal order.

"Jordan is the most pro-American country in middle-east. I would give them money long before Egypt which is now run by Muslim Brotherhood leader, Morsi. King Abdallah of Jordan has acted in favor of US."

Granted, but why do they need US tax-payer dollars? Why? To keep them pro-America? If so, that's called bribery, as we do with so many other countries. Yeah, I know, either us or Russia or China...blah, blah, blah.

I'm sick of the Middle East. I wish it would cease to exist, except for Israel. No, I'm not Jewish.

Because like or not, we are still the keepers of order in the world full of rogues. Do a Google search on amount of trade we do with the middle-east (M-E) and trade with countries who trade with M-E such as China and Japan. If M-E goes bonkers, it will most certainly affect our economy.

In the end it all boils down to corporations, economic activity, jobs etc. The days of crawling into our own shell and ignore all foreign trade are long past.

However I could’nt agree with you more on that the M-E is a pain in the arse.
