The Democratic Party likes to tout its support for the right of a woman to control her body after she becomes pregnant, and this is a position with which I agree prior to substantial fetal development. It is clear, however, that Colorado's Democrats do not recognize a woman's right to decide whether she wants to become pregnant in the first place, or even have sexual intercourse. Their position, and they have made it clear through both their legislation and their public statements, is that they expect rape victims to comply passively with their attackers. Let's start with State Representative Joe Salazar (D-CO), who said women lack the basic mental capacity to handle firearms responsibly.
"There are some gender inequities on college campuses, this is true, and universities have been faced with that situation for a long time. It's why we have call boxes, it's why we have safe zones, it's why we have the whistles. Because you just don't know who you're going to be shooting at. And you don't know if you feel like you're going to be raped, or if you feel like someone's been following you around or if you feel like you're in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop, pop a round at somebody."

There some recalls either being considered or already under way in Colorado. All of these politician’s statements and the identities and their political party need to be prominently displayed by petition gatherers. These things are inflammatory and need to be exploited to the max!

The problem is that this behavior is ubiquitously prevalent throught Democratdom! They ALL are like that. They ALL stand up for one another. They all would lie to you soon as look at you. They are basically evil, selfish people who mainly only use words and their concocted votes - now. When they think they've consolidated their power, they will soon be behaving like the Nazis, Fascists, Chicoms and Junta goons who'll line you up beside a ditch and blow your brains out because you don't think like they do. We aren't going to win with these people on a legistlative/representative basis; we are going to have to fight these people in the streets one day.
A Texan who was running for the governership back in the 80s said that ‘women should just lay back and enjoy it’ when asked about rape. He was a shoe-in to be elected but after that statement to the press Ann Richards defeated him. I have forgotten his name. I’ll remember right after I click on ‘post’. ;-)
Not surprising is it that the liberals threw rape under the bus in favor of disarming the people of the country. Rape is a terrible crime, but in the cause of disarming the people, it is not so terrible after all. Disarming law abiding citizens in more important.
I don’t remember the Texas Governor race, but I do remember the case of 2 or 3 Marines raping a young Okinawan girl, and the then CINCPAC (C-in-C, Pacific Fleet) making a public statement that the guys could have bought themselves a hooker with the money they had spent renting the car that was used in the crime.
He was relieved of his command REAL quick. I remember his name (was XO of my first ship) but I won’t reveal it.
Umm. Don’t know about the lying back part, but I’d say he just may enjoy it.
They wouldn’t want a premature end to the career of a budding Bill Clinton or Ted Kennedy.

Just another sign that evil is the rule of the day- by all rights, 1000’s of women shoudl IMMEDIATELY arm themselves, march on the courthouse- and tell thsoe lawmakers in no uncertain terms to take their laws and shove them up their own arses and that they will NOT just lie their and take it complaintly when beign attacked-
In Florida, when women were beign raped back i nthe 80’s women began immediately armign htemselves because the courts and law WERE NOT PROTECTING them, and rape crimes dropepd rdramatically in a very short time- Today, in coplorado- women face the very same issue- are they goign to stand up for their RIGHTS NOT TO BE RAPED OR are they goign to simply allow a bunch of #$##@@#$%#$ to dictate to them how they shoudl act when beign raped?
Next election is going to be interesting, to see where the money comes from.
