Sadly, you read that headline correctly. From The Weekly Standard:
Florida legislators considering a bill to require abortionists to provide medical care to an infant who survives an abortion were shocked during a committee hearing this week when a Planned Parenthood official endorsed a right to post-birth abortion.
Sponsor of the bill Republican Rep. Cary Pigman has said his interest in the bill is “solely and strictly to provide care for that infant that is born alive, following any procedure, that it receives full and appropriate resuscitation.”
But Snow thinks politicians shouldn’t be the ones to decide “what constitutes the best medically appropriate treatment in any given situation.” Needless to say, the lawmakers were absolutely stunned:
"So, um, it is just really hard for me to even ask you this question because I’m almost in disbelief," said Rep. Jim Boyd. "If a baby is born on a table as a result of a botched abortion, what would Planned Parenthood want to have happen to that child that is struggling for life?”
"We believe that any decision that's made should be left up to the woman, her family, and the physician," said Planned Parenthood lobbyist Snow.
Davis then asked Snow, "What happens in a situation where a baby is alive, breathing on a table, moving. What do your physicians do at that point?”
"I do not have that information," Snow replied. "I am not a physician, I am not an abortion provider. So I do not have that information.”
“I think that at that point the patient would be the child struggling on the table, wouldn’t you agree?” asked Oliva.
"That’s a very good question. I really don’t know how to answer that," Snow said. "I would be glad to have some more conversations with you about this.”

The legal issue, beyond the abortion issue, is mind boggling.
If Snow feels so strongly about it, maybe she should volunteer to let someone stick scissors in the back of her neck and cut her spinal cord.
Planned Parenthood is simply a manifestation of the neo paganism and decadence that has become the reality of modern day America. The sad fact is that the Supreme Court (to its eternal disgrace) has made the merciless killing of innocent human life “constitutional’, the Congress in over forty years has not only failed to correct the atrocity but funds it,and the people have elected the vile Obama. If the killing of innocent human life is a constitutional right, can a decent person of conscience take an oath to uphold and defend such a document?
First to go: unborn babies - they're the easiest to kill.
Next to go: born babies - next easiest.
Third to go: the elderly sanctioned by "ObamaCare" )AKA ObamaKill.
From there, pick 'em: "Enemies of the State" - including probably mostly Christians and at some point almost certainly Jews.

Wasn’t there recently a murder case in Canada dismissed because if abortion is legal then killing the baby must be too? Anybody have a link to that one?
I couldn’t even imagine being married to a Dr. that does abortions. What do you say when he/she comes home,”Hi dear, how many innocent babies did you murder today?”
These people are sick. Now they want legalized murder, and any woman who goes in for a late term abortion and the baby is born and capable of survival and she does nothing should be charged with murder.

Did you think America would be any different? America isn't/wasn't great because it was "America." It is/was great because it was a benign Constitutional Republic.
The Constitution in creating a limited government, is basically an anti-government document. The government is ALWAYS a threat. The Constitution contains the threat. Do away with the Constitution as Obama and his buddies are busy doing, and America becomes just another deadly Socialist regime.

Perhaps there needs to be legislation that requires an open and honest conversation between the patient and the doctor, including the signing of documents (sort of like a DNR), in which the patient is given ALL the information, including the knowledge that her “blob of cells” might just be born alive and may have actually a head, arms and legs. She will then need to make a decision of whether “it” should live or die by scissors.

at which point Ms Snow should have been told, “Well, NOW is the time for this conversation, so let’s have it NOW.
You forgot the mentally and physically disabled. They are at the top of the list because they generally cost society the most.
The only reason why abortion in the womb is not abhorrent is because no one can see the baby. Outside of the womb everyone can see the baby, hear his screams and struggles. Killing the born baby shocks the senses. Killing the unborn baby doesn’t because too many people fool themselves into thinking that they are just eliminating tissue.
A country that loves abortion so much as this one hates itself.

BTW, don't mean to change the subject but it occurs to me that the Socialist argument for killing these people is sadly the same argument many "conservatives" use against immigration (before the 1920's there were no immigration laws).
There is no way she could defend the indifensible. “Yes, we want to kill the tiny little fighter that’s on the table strugging for life.” No matter how skilled the lobbyist is (and I’m sure Planned Parenthood can afford the most skillful) there is no way this question can be answered in a less-than-pejorative manner.
Which should give them a clue as to what they stand for.
Weasel language. A committee doesn't make decisions, an individual makes a decision.
In this case, the family and the physician (to her mind) would only be advising the woman, who would make the decision.
I'm unclear why she drags in the family and doctor. Possibly to make it look less unilateral and arbitrary.

Duh!! So does our esteemed POTUS, who is on record, in that he voted to terminate babies who survived abortion.
