Sanford hasn’t repented or asked for forgiveness; he wants his little boys and his idiot supporters to accept his depravity. If he would say, “I made a mistake and will work the rest of my life to make it up to my wife and family and love them the way God intended” he could easily be forgiven. Instead he continues down the road to ruin.

Guess what, the people in flyover country are better behaved, better educated and more thoughtful than most on the East coast.

I think I’ll send some money to Colbert.

That's a perfect way to keep a GOP House.

First of all, you need to relax and tone down the personal attacks. I’m not attacking you personally. Act like an adult, not a child.

Secondly, without knowing the state of the Sanford marriage, neither you nor anyone else can make these kind of accusations. Life’s just a little more complicated.

Third - if you actually take the time to review Sanford’s record on the issues, he is exemplary.

“The Cato Institute ranked Sanford as the best governor in America in their 2010 fiscal policy report card, describing him as ‘a staunch supporter of spending restraint and pro-growth tax reforms.’”

In my world, you make a commitment you keep it. I realize a lot of middle aged men with a paunch don’t keep their vows because their wienie takes precedence.
