I can’t tell whether the guy “staged” this or is just stupid. The cop was within his right to disarm the guy until things got sorted out. He’s damn lucky the cop didn’t x him when he didn’t comply. I’m as hard line on the 2nd Amendment as you’re likely to find, but this was just moronic.

I find this interesting. Up here in the North Woods the Libertarians open carry all of the time, just to piss off the libs. Ran across on in the local WALMART looking at the computer games.

He gave me a look as if to say, challenge me about my Glock. I pointed out that the game he was looking at sucked and walked away.

Explain how this was staged... Especially considering I was out in the country walking down roads that are surrounded mostly by farmland (the majority of which is owned by my family). I can’t wait to hear your explanation as if you were there.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened in the local area against veterans and active duty troops that are active in second amendment issues.

Actually, this particular officer has been on the force for more than 25 years. He’s known as being overly aggressive with citizens and has already been demoted once. We are waiting on the dashcam video we subpoenaed to come in sometime this week.

He had a loaded assault style rifle strapped across his chest.
