It's high time we remind the traitors among us that our Constitution and Bill of Rights, including the Second Amendment, are not subject to debate, negotiation or compromise. Hell no we will not surrender or weaken our God-given, constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms! Nor will we allow our rights to be infringed upon by the communist/Marxist traitors in our congress!!
This would require an all out nation-wide march by all tea party patriots. If tea party patriots are serious about defending our God-given constitutional rights, NOW is the time. In fact, this may very well be our last peaceful shot at it.
Do not allow them to infringe on our right to keep and bear arms!! Their goal is to get us registered, then begin finding excuses to deprive us of our gun rights. If you are a gun owner, a veteran, a Christian, a defender of the constitution and or you consider yourself to be a liberty loving patriot, the tyrannical Obama/Holder/Napolitano government has a target painted on your back and they aim to disarm you, jail you or kill you in the process!! And, with very few exceptions, our toothless Republican wimps in the congress are selling us out!!
FReepers get in touch with your fellow chapter members and or tea party groups. Let's get it together get it organized, get it coordinated in all 57 states before it's too late.

This one is very much needed. I think is possible to get 500,000 thousand people to attend. Fill the mall from the Lincoln memorial to the Washington monument. The problem is the money and the planning and coordination.
I went to Beck's 8/28 rally back in the day when I followed him. It wasn't a TEA Party rally, but there were hundreds of thousands of TEA Party people. Beck had a lot of money tied up in the rally and at that time he was on FoxNews and the radio five days a week which certainly helped publicity.
Teaming with Gun Owners of America, the NRA, and other groups could make it big.
Time around 4th of July is a no go as the Folklife Festival and fireworks prep, clean-up wipes out that week.
Porta-potties are 1 per 300 people. Volume discounts can be had, but they do add up.
Mr. T, can you recon the Park Service and/or Capitol Police for open days if Jim goes in that direction? Also might want to consider a march along with the rally.
One thing we'll need is volunteer marshals.
I’d love to do something like this, but we will have to head back north on Sunday (I guess)...and I have to catch a plane on Monday. :(
Just to let everyone know, this is probably going to take an organization a lot larger than FR to put together and to attract the national attention required. That’s why I proposed it as a grassroots tea party style event. FR does not have the financial wherewithal to organize and finance a large national event. We need an event as large or larger than the big Sept 12 Tea Party event back in 2009 (or whenever it was) with hundreds of thousands of marchers. Our local chapters can probably organize state and district level events, but we need a bigger hammer nationally!!

a. One jiffy john per 50 people is required at about $200 per jiffy john
b. Any stages, etc that are going to be on the grass will need to have a matted access route for vehicles to drive on. Then they have to be self standing - NO driving pegs into the grass
c. A minimum of several months of planning and organizing is needed to get sufficient numbers to attend. People have to plan.
d. We need some BIG names early on to help draw people, under Speakers
e. We will need to hire medical teams for the event. I am not sure how many are need per ?? people.
f. Donations, and from deep pockets, are severely needed.
g. Advertising and lots of it is a must.

Who amongst us has contacts. Don't be shy, step up. I can work on the Sheriff of this county I'm in, and some others in LE close by.
None of the ones you mentioned play well with others.
One of the founders of the TPP is a major player with TPX now.
TPP’s other founders were pretty upset that anyone would leave and get involved at the grass roots level.
One of the other founders, Mark Meckler, is a lawyer.
So naturally there were lawsuits.
He left too (about a year ago), along with another player.
So I guess Jenny Beth Martin is sitting on the top of the teatering (yea that is how I chose to spell it) totem pole in complete control. I dunno, I don’t follow their antics much unless something comes up that seriously undermines the TPM.
