The deadly bombing at the Boston Marathon that killed at least two and injured more than 80 is believed to be an act of terrorism, senior White House officials told Fox News.
Two explosions tore through the finish line of the world-famous race just before 3 p.m., going off simultaneously as throngs of onlookers watched runners complete the 26.2-mile trek. The timing of the blasts immediately sparked suspicions of a deliberate act. “When multiple devices go off, that’s an act of terrorism,” a senior administration official told Fox News, just moments after President Obama delivered a statement to the nation and did not use the word “terror.”
The official stressed that with details still coming in, it is unclear whether a foreign entity like Al Qaeda was behind it or whether it was home-grown terrorism. As a result, this official said the administration did not want the president to get out too far ahead and directly call it “terror.”

Boston has Muslims, I was driven around the city by a Muslim cab driver--a very nice fellow, to be honest. But there's a "colony" there, apparently.
Now, to the point: There's NO REASON why the Irish would ever want to bomb American cities. For Heaven's sake...they've even stopped the bombings in Ireland/UK.
Don't forget: this has all the hallmarks of a PALESTINIAN-type bomb. They do this--ball bearings, nails, even coating the shrapnel with AIDS, Hepatitis, and other diseases, so that even if you're scratched lightly, you might contract something to become another victim for their Moon God.
Remember that spate of Pizzeria bombings in Israel? Went on for several years while they talked "peace, peace" but there was no peace.
That terror against Israel only ended when they built that large wall.
This has all the hallmarks of a more Palestinian-flavor terror campaign. It fits their modus operandi.
I’d wonder if there were any significance to the time and just who was running the marathon, maybe passing the bomb site(s) when the explosions were set off, a somebody or group of them that might be a target of interest to terrorists.
The retail storefronts in close proximity might be of interest too. Who would be most likely to see explosive devices being planted? Someone planting bombs might be inclined to do it with friendly witnesses.
It may be that the whole thing was intended to maximize visibility, death, injury and fear, since the Boston Marathon is a noteworthy event, with deaths and injuries being random. But, maybe not.

Immediate background checks on any one who is presently a
muslim or planning to convert to islam.

Bill O’Reilly was ticked that O called it a ‘ tragedy’, not ‘terrorism’ during his address on television this evening at 6:00. It was later that the WH called it an act of terrorism, but that was passed on to reporters. O did not say it was terrorism.
Not to make light of a terrible situation, but I couldn't help laughing at a reader's comment on CNN's website earlier today where he/she made that exact point, but then noted that planting bombs at the finish line of a marathon would end up killing and injuring more Ethiopians and Kenyans than anyone else.
