Rubio explained that under his bill, ilegal aliens who “have committed serious crimes” will be deported. However, the proposal will apparently not deem as a serious crime the habit of routinely driving without a driver's license.”

In 2008 illegal alien Sergio Ornofre was convicted of killing 14 year old Daniel Turner after Ornofre dragged Turner under a stolen car for nearly a quarter of a mile.

Ornofre was driving on a suspended license which was the final straw that drove Michigan to firmly deny illegal aliens driver’s licenses.
