Marco Rubio Called Out For “Lying Like Democrats” About Immigration
Freedom Outpost ^ | Apr. 20, 2013 | Tim Brown

Posted on 04/20/2013 1:27:00 PM PDT by EXCH54FE

On Wednesday, author Ann Coulter blasted Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) for his support of the immigration reform bill which is being put forth by the “Gang of Eight” that he is a part of. Her headline was classic Coulter, “IF RUBIO’S AMNESTY IS SO GREAT, WHY IS HE LYING?”. In it, she proceeds to expose the obvious problems with the Florida Senator’s proposed immigration legislation.

“When Republicans start lying like Democrats, you can guess they are pushing an idea that’s bad for America,” the conservative author wrote. “During his William Ginsburg-like tour of the Sunday talk shows last weekend, Sen. Marco Rubio was the Mount Vesuvius of lies about his immigration bill.”

Coulter pointed to Rubio’s appearance on Fox News Sunday, in which he explained the powerful border-enforcing mechanism, which he denied was merely a meaningless goal. He said, “Basically, Homeland Security will have five years to meet that goal. If after five years, Homeland Security has not met that number, it will trigger the Border Commission, who will then take over this issue for them.”

Coulter then sarcastically commented, “So the water torture awaiting the Department of Homeland Security if it fails to secure the border is … ANOTHER GOVERNMENT COMMISSION WILL BE CREATED! Take that, Homeland Security! Ha — we have you now! The only thing more frightening than ‘another government commission’ is a ‘strongly worded letter.’”

REFORM IS GATEWAY TO TERRORISM---The Big Lie is that the bulk of border-crossers are Mexican----BUT we know Mexico is the staging area for all of the Third World freeloaders---that includes global terrorists bent on destroying America.

Terrorists from Mideast countries are entering the US from Mexico......their swarthiness gives them a pass to masquerade as Mexican illegals

The Mexican border has become the staging area for (1) global terrorists (swarthy Mideasterners who pass for Mexicans), (2) the criminal latino uderworld, (3) Third World lowlifes, (4) drug cartels, (5) impoverished latinos hoping to win the "border lottery" in the US and the like.

And US politicans are looking the other way. The word is out---"come to Mexico to infiltrate the US. It's open season to conduct your dirty deeds."

======================================

As FReeper sick of libs insightfully posted: Rubio's new reform pkg "says" there'll be at least a 10 year wait BUT the wait for US citizenship will be s-o-o-o long that illegals who apply will wish they had NEVER left their comfy Third World homelands.

SUMMING UP Rubio's plan will make them sorry they came here. Plus they will get zero benefits for those l-o-n-g 10-15 years. Plus Schumer and Durbin and Obama agree with all this.....b/c Rubio is such a tough negotiator, he has them eating out of his hand.....(alarm bells ringing)...

=============================================== CONCLUSION-- (Sniffle) AT ALL TIMES, the Gang of Eight was guided by sacrosanct founding principles----government of the people, by the people, and for the people (sob)...... The "people"---that's us.

Mexican drug cartels swarming into the US (read below) already have financial arrangements with Hamas and Hezbollah, and will be empowered to expand those partnerships via The Schumer-Rubio amnesty bill. It’s a small step from blanketing America w/ marijuana and heroin to aiding and abetting Hezbollah operatives. To these hardened criminal, the profit motive rules, no matter the source.

NY POST EXCERPT--- Mexican cartels dispatch agents deep inside US - spread into non-border states

CHICAGO (AP) — Mexican drug cartels whose operatives once rarely ventured beyond the US border are dispatching some of their most trusted agents to live and work deep inside the United States — an emboldened presence that experts believe is meant to tighten their grip on the world's most lucrative narcotics market and maximize profits. If left unchecked, authorities say, the cartels' move into the American interior could render the syndicates harder than ever to dislodge and pave the way for them to expand into other criminal enterprises such as prostitution, kidnapping-and-extortion rackets and money laundering.

Some cartels even have Mexican operatives fill out job applications before being dispatched to the US, Riley added.

In Mexico, the cartels are known for a staggering number of killings — more than 50,000, according to one tally. Beheadings are sometimes a signature. So far, cartels don't appear to be directly responsible for large numbers of slayings in the United States, though the Texas Department of Public Safety reported 22 killings and five kidnappings in Texas at the hands of Mexican cartels from 2010 through mid- 2011. Still, police worry that increased cartel activity could fuel heightened violence.--SNIP--

In Chicago, the police commander who oversees narcotics investigations, James O'Grady, said street-gang disputes over turf account for most of the city's uptick in murders last year, when slayings topped 500 for the first time since 2008.

Although the cartels aren't dictating the territorial wars, they are the source of drugs. Riley's assessment is stark: He argues that the cartels should be seen as an underlying cause of Chicago's disturbingly high murder rate. "They are the puppeteers," he said. "Maybe the shooter didn't know and maybe the victim didn't know that. But if you follow it down the line, the cartels are ultimately responsible."

You should care because idiot Republicans keep talking about ”the Hispanic vote” as if it is one undifferentiated mass. And from the postings that I see on FR, no, I don’t think that most get it about the Cubans.

““idiot Republicans = RINOs.”

Let us go forth and createth a new phrase:

iRINO’s - idiot RINO’s (redundant, I know)”

I think TURD BLOSSOM Republicans is more appropriate.

“Rush totally skewered him”

I listened to it and thought just the opposite. Rush sounded more frustrated in the republican party than he was effective in his criticism of the Gang of 8.

Rubio understands immigration policy. INS needs a major overhaul with its chain immigration policies. Chain (family) immigration was instituted by Edward Kennedy as a way of getting votes for the demorat party. It is working better than he ever imagined.

Rubio wants us to give preference to businessmen, scientists, etc. - people who will contribute to entrepreneurism not welfare rolls.

I don’t believe you have to pass an amnesty bill to reform INS, but Rubio was very effective and knowledgeable in his interview with Rush.

Rush has been harping on the fact that only 4% of the public gives a whit about immigration and gun control. He didn’t present that fact to Rubio.

That statement points up several things:

1. Rubio plans that HSD will fail to secure the border. They are already failing at border security now. Why does he think a new law is going to make any difference?

2. HSD is a massive bureaucratic boondoggle.

3. If the massive bureaucratic boondoggle fails, which is likely, the contingency is a Border Commission. Oh, yeah! More government. More bureaucracy. What makes Rubio think that the Border Commission would do any more than HSD?

Rubio also has said that the commission would be border governors, but someone else pointed out that is would be made up of bureaucrats and politicians appointed from Washington.

No wonder Rubio is fast-talking this on every outlet. He is hoping people hear his words but don't have time to actually to listen and comprehend.

I credit Rubio for trying to change INS policy. All we are doing now is allowing in folks that immediately apply for welfare - chain immigration.

The demorats are not going to change an INS policy that benefits them.

Rubio knows how Congress works. He has to ‘give’ something to get a change in INS policy and secured borders. Rubio expertly explained how if the federal gov’t. cannot secure the borders the governors will be given that authority in 5 years.

If the ‘illegals’ truly have to go to the back of the line, the amnesty ( which currently exists ) is worth the cost if INS is reformed and the flow of welfare recipients is replaced with a better educated class of entrepreneurial workers.

It is impossible to send the illegals back. As Rubio said, amnesty currently exists and is administration policy. The focus should be on secured borders and stemming the flow of immigrants that immediately apply for welfare and vote demorat or else this country is finished with the present chain immigration policies.

Rubio is not naive. As Speaker of the House of Florida, he constantly blocked legislation to curtail illegal immigration. He knows exactly what he is doing. The PTB thought a pretty face would fool the people. Apparently it fooled enough in Florida to get him elected.

The “MarcoPhone.”

Interestingly, TracFone, a company that will likely benefit from this type of government program, is based in Rubio’s Miami, Florida.”

He has miscalculated and now the Dems are playing him like a violin and he is wedded to his Gang of 8. Its likely the end of his career.

Apparently he's not too bright.

Instead of acting as a prominent, in-your-face pusher of this traitorous legislation, he could have sat back and let others take the heat, and perhaps been able to bamboozle his (former) Tea Party supporters into believing he was an impartial negotiator out to get conservatives the best possible deal.

He's dreaming if he thinks he'll hold onto conservative support after betraying conservatives on such a core issue.

how Rubio could ”get the Hispanic vote”.

Well, unless we know for a fact that every single "hispanic" absolutely hates the man...

I suppose that if he addressed them in the right style of Spanish, talked to the hardworking Catholic/Evangelical people who have nothing in common with the baby-killing, packer/muncher welfare RAT types...maybe he could divide that so-called demographic, and pull a portion of them into the R column.

Has it been tried before?

I’m very disappointed in Rubio.

I take it you didn’t notice that Rush declare he thought Rubio was a true conservative, at the end of his show.

Rush left him undamaged even tho he did not like his bill.

Border Enforcement:

Put trained up snipers at the border and very publicly spend a week or two firing on all alien trespassers. It will stop in short order. A dozen body bags is about what it would take to fully stop decades of this insanity.

Repatriation of Illegals:

Again, a few no-nonsense raids of enclaves of illegals, at workplaces or hangouts, or on known multi-family households, a dozen or so heads kicked in, maybe a few killed trying to resist, and millions would start running for the border or lining up voluntarily to leave.

I don’t know if Rush has lost heart or what, but it seems like he’s been mailing it in. Hard to blame him. But we have to keep fighting.
