CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts police official say the brothers suspected of bombing the Boston Marathon before having shootouts with authorities didn't have gun permits.

Now ALL homes, restaurants and food processors will be REQUIRED to have pressure cooker permits.
I don’t think terrorists really worry about whether or not they have a gun permit. It’s not high on their list of priorities.
how about MURDER permits? did they have any of those either???

Now that is more than passing strange.....they left the owner outside with the vehicle and went in the store? And the guy is STILL unnamed? You have to wonder if he's an accomplice who lost his nerve.
And why did they go into the store (a buddy behind the desk?)?
And I thought they said the car-jacking took place at the convenience store.

I am sure under new legislation they would have run to sign up and get their permits. Certainly they are/were highly interested in obeying the law.
How ‘bout their bomb disposal permit and the tariffs they obviosly didnt pay for the timers and C4 they smuggled into the U.S. Oh wait, almost forgot 0 probably “gave” it the Muslim Brotherhood or AL Qaida and it just made its way back over here...my bad

Door to door searches.. treating innocents like criminals...(does not sound like a free country)
The local cops basically removed from their powers by untold differing federal agencies.....

When they were badly bombed by Russia, many countries sent aid in one form or another. The chechens could have cashed in on this bigtime, both financially and politically. Instead they just killed the people who came to help them, including Red Cross workers. And in some instances they had fun doing it, posting heads to be seen by others in prominent places.
They also were fond of videotaping themselves beheading people or just sawing fingers off a kidnapped child and sending the tapes to Russian officials. On at least one occasion a chechen was caught and sent to Russian prison, based on his own videotaping of himself.
Having followed the chechen terrorists for some time, I have to wonder what they are thinking?????
Still haven’t heard exactly what firearms they had. Anyone know?
This just means we have to totally outlaw guns, not just require registration, because as we saw with prohibition, and with illegal drugs, outlawing something totally takes it out of society....
Everything I’ve heard refers to either several pistols or hand guns and one long gun, nothing more specific than that. We should know by now, it’s quite strange.
