Progressivism means the elimination of family and the authority of parents completely. MSNBC was advancing the 'theory' that our kids are not going to be your kids anymore so the government can brainwash them all they want and there won't be a thing that you or anyone can do about it. This is the culture that the lunatic liberals are promoting. In certain European countries the kids are basically property of the state and not children of the parents and that is what this phony president Obama and his entourage are promoting for this country.

In my day, boys had pretty good radar in picking out the sluts - But the majority didn’t know what they had found.

Like the guy who walked up to most every woman he saw and asked her to go to bed with him.
His buddy observed him getting many slaps across the face.
When questioned, the ‘asker’ said “You would be surprised how many DON’T slap me and take me up on it”.
So many courses and ‘they’ got on me for taking typing in my Junior Year of HS.....Course only me and 4 other ‘smart ass’ boys in the class of ‘57 that had typing under their belt. SMART MOVE, but the ‘powers that be’ were reluctant at the time - especially with only 32 in the ‘graduating class’, 5 was a good percentage.
Still pretty ridiculous - and hard to see how that fits into an 'anti-bullying' presentation ...
The college that provided the instructors for this is Bard College which is apparently liberal even by today’s standards.

Because I was an “A” Student, and gifted in both music and the visual arts (I didn’t plan that...it wasn’t my fault! LOL) I was bullied MERCILESSLY from the 9th grade onward.
I was cornered in the locker room and attacked by several girls who had taken pins from sewing class.
I was “BOOED” by my entire Class when I went up to get my diploma.
I was beat up by two male football players.
Guess what.
I SURVIVED.
And now I am a FReeper.
How about schools get out of social propaganda, and start teaching kids how to work?
As in, gain a real job. Do something productive.
This is absurd.
I figured this “anti-bullying” stuff was part of a larger more sinister agenda.
I was a fat kid. I was picked on at school. I was picked on during baseball games. I was picked on by my brothers. 24/7 during the summer months.
One day in 9th grade, I was getting picked on by an upper class men hockey player. He pushed me. I pushed back, and by mistake I stepped on one of his shoelaces. He went crashing backwards and hit his head on the concrete floor.
I said something like, “ leave me the f alone.”
He was out cold.
Now, he and I knew what happened. Neither one of us ever said anything about it.
No one ever picked on me again.
Because the US school system is focused on preparing students for jobs on a farm or in a factory. Guess what: there are no farms or factories anymore. That is why there is so much focus on college.
Start teaching kids plumbing, electrical work, auto mechanics. But no...everyone is going to be a “knowledge” worker.
Imagine having that photo show up the rest of your life every time someone does a background check.
I’m glad some people still have the ability to get outrages. Nothing will come of the outrage, but it feels good anyway.
