The most notable takeaway from Jay Carney’s incomprehensible Friday appearance had little to do with his Klingon grammar. Carney does not represent the historical value of the event – you should be wise to forget his performance, and instead take note that he was flanked by the entire room, without exception.
Do not underestimate the significance: the Obama administration has not faced such an onslaught of truth-seeking since he took office in 2008, and further, no Democratic administration has been charged from all sides like this in recent memory.
That press conference was unthinkable just days ago.
For a left-leaning reporter – as surveys have confirmed most are – watching the WH Press Corps attack a Democratic administration regarding a scandal that could very well topple it must objectively represent a career-turning event.
Just hours earlier, many lefty journalists still felt exceedingly comfortable advancing the administration talking points, offering denigrating coverage of the whistleblowers, the “wingnut conspiracy theorists,” and conservatives in general. Professionally, this meant offering subpar commentary with little chance of notable criticism penetrating the MSM bubble.
But now?
Again, it was the entire room....

Joking that they worked for Axelrod for the last 5 years was not going to sit well.
When you are willingly getting your ass kissed on a daily basis you don’t make jokes about the soft mushiness of the kisser’s lips.

Honor? Not a chance. None of these liberal sycophants could find the word in the dictionary, much less comprehend the definition were it read to them.
I’m tending to think a threat against air travel has been made and the same bobbleheads are going to be forced to deal with Benghazi finally in the most horrible way.
1) Why was security so lax at a US embassy in a hostile country on the anniversary of 9/11?
2) Why was no attempt made to help the embassy staff when the poop start hitting?
3) Why did the administration lie about the true perpetrators and motivations of the attack?
My guess is that Obama had convinced himself that the GOP was the cause of terrorism in the world and with him (Obama) in the Oval Office Al Qaeda in its allies would have no reason to attack us (Yes, Obama lives in la-la land). When the attack occurred, Obama refused to send help in order to keep the ‘story’ as small as possible and, therefore; his reelection chances as large as possible. The video story was also invented to keep the story ‘small.’
If Obama truly didn't send help just to keep his reelection chances ‘large’, that would certainly be immoral and impeachable. While I do think this is what happened, I think it is also very difficult if not impossible to prove. Obama is way too smart to get caught in that ‘trick-bag.’...unless someone leaks damning evidence.
This leaves us with catching Obama ‘red-handed’ lying to the public about the silly video. It's not a lot but, at least it's something. In the end, this likely damages Obama but, does not destroy him. His media allies just won't let it happen.
Why are they hiding all the survivors of the real battle? What was the real mission of the mission in Benghazi?
Me too. But I can't shake the memory of the Peanuts cartoons about Lucy and the football. Like Good Old Charlie Brown, we keep charging up full of hope in the belief that this time it will be different, and then she yanks the darn football away and we wind up flat on our faces in the mud again, proving only the truth of my tagline.
