Meeting in Rome with Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, Secretary of State John Kerry announced Thursday that the United States would provide an additional $100 million in humanitarian assistance for refugees fleeing the fighting in Syria, bringing the total amount of aid to $510 million.

Kerry also said that he is working to bring all parties together to create a transitional government and that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad would not be part of that government.

Jordan, which is being inundated by a wave of Syrian refugees, will receive nearly $43 million, which will support United Nations humanitarian programs in the region.

You know, $100M is a lot of money. I mean, a lot of money by anyone’s standards.

Where was this $100 million when Benghazi needed extra security?

Hil-Dawg said that the State Dept. just didn’t have the money...

Let China and Russia and Brazil provide “humanitarian” aid.

In a recent TV interview of people living in Detroit. One of them questioned the priority of sending all this money to foreigners while US citizens here could use the help.

Isn’t this money already budgeted, or do they just have a big account out of which they fund haters of America?

Stop the madness! We don’t have any money to spend, USA needs its own money and USA should never give my money to those that wish to kill me or Israelis.

Could we just send them 200 million carbon credits and give ourselves the Nobel humanitarian-environmentalist award?

$100 million to shut up Syrian rebels who bought the last $100 million dollars of guns from Obama, and then burned the store down.

Egypt Morsi (Muslim Brotherhood) was calling for regime change in Syria as soon as he was elected. New First lady of Egypt is Huma Abedin's (top aid of Hillary) mother's best friend...all seems interrelated.

There is a question which nags at me when it comes to rulers of any country with a large populace following Islam?

That being why would anyone want to do so? It ends in death to themselves and everyone associated with them. There is no such thing as an orderly process of regime change thru any political process. It's kill or be killed!

It's been that way for 1,800 years. It's not like aspiring political types of Islam run for office so they can make a difference now is it?

Hey if you want to spend $100 Mil of your wife’s money on sand monkeys go ahead but stop spending money I’ve worked all my life to save.

Giving my money to people I would rather see dead makes my blood boil. If only we had more people like the Founders.

STOP SPENDING MY MONEY ON THINGS I DO NOT APPROVE!

I’d rather see them give it to the Low info voters here than people that would kill us in a heartbeat.

Let’s see - Due to sequester we can’t have tours of the white hut (Hussein’s Palace) because we can’t afford them, BUT we can afford to give $100M to the al queda muzzies in syria?

I don’t mind giving the money, but is the USA the ONLY country contributing?

Aren’t the Russians heavily involved with Syria? Are they going to pony up half a billion?

How about China (another Syrian supporter)?

Where’s Iran?

Where are the oil rich Arab nations?

How about the EU, which loves to lecture everyone in the middle east?

etc.

I do. It’s MY money. Rather than giving to a bunch of foreigners, who hate us regardless of what we do, give it back to those of us that EARNED it in the first place.
