First of all, carrying a gene does NOT make you diseased.

Second, ain't it STRANGE how the pro-abortion NY SLIMES would publish this a day after Gosnell's conviction....you know, to REMIND everyone that a "woman's choice" may also mean getting elective breast removal surgery.

Third, this nonsense gives the media something NEW to focus upon....so they can avoid the corrupt Obamugabe clan.

wouldn’t this mean they just let the air out of the bags or popped the rivets to take off the after market installs?

That’s simply tyranny by gene testing. There’s no way that the gene test gives anything more than a statistic. It’s easy for bad doctors to spew stats and not look at the individual and dozens of environmental factors. The really scary part is that these tests are cheap and will be misused by the government under Obamacare, the sequel. There are two guaranteed results for government run healthcare: cheap pills instead of real care and cheap tests instead of doctors visits. The result will not be anything close to health for most people.

You’re right; bread & circuses for the masses. I stopped eating lunch with co-workers because I’d listen to an hour of this fluff...

“First of all, carrying a gene does NOT make you diseased.”

No, but to be fair, the average cumulative risk for developing breast cancer by age 70 for a woman with the Brca1 mutation is ~65%. It's more than just a minor predisposition. Making this into ‘a woman's choice’ issue is totally ridiculous though.

The sole qualification for President of the United States of America that Barack Obama was able to offer was the fact that he was Black (and only half Black at that).

And by what standard can Angelina Jolie claim to be an actress? Proving again that the American public no longer cares about actual capability as long as the person looks good or fills some fantasy slot.

I watched CNN this morning at 5:30 to see if they would carry the Gosnell story. They didn’t mention it at all, but the first 10 minutes of the show were about the missing boobs.

She hasn’t looked good in a while. I saw a picture of her without makeup and that face would scare a bulldog off a meat wagon. Make a train take a dirt road. Make a buzzard gag. (more please)

the gene plus family history is a huge indicator- especially with breast cancer that runs in families like baldness...

we had a woman in our office 20+ years ago who died of breast cancer...her mother also died of breast cancer...it was a terrible situation especially considering she had one 15 year old daughter...guaranteed if that woman had the option she would’ve had a double mastectomy prior to actually getting cancer if it meant saving her life...

Will 0bamacare cover this testing and the elective procedure?

Or will women be “better off...taking the pain killer”?

I’m not going to make any smart remarks about this situation. We don’t know what she knows about her condition. Surgery like this is not something to be entered into lightly. We’re talking about a potentially life saving procedure, not cosmetic surgery. I wish her the best.
