I saw that this morning, it was the highlight of the Sunday shows. CBS is at odds with Obama on this. Its great to watch.

I thought it was just Schieffer - he’s enough of an old school journalist that he’s still got some integrity. Is there anyone else at CBS who isn’t a total suck-up?
Actually, I was thinking of that ABC story last week, not CBS.
Schrieffer was good though.
No news-breaks from NBC on these, they work for Obama.

Dem trolls do the same. Rush was one of the first to recognize them - the fakes would call and say, 'I'm a lifelong Republican, BUT..." then they would go on to trash Republicans. Organized groups of dem trolls write fake letters 'in our name' to liberal newspapers too - saying outrageous things. It's as if Germans SS troops had written letter to the editors of German newspaper pretending to be 'filthy' Jews - with the express purpose of making Germans hate Jews.
Liberals use these dirty tricks out of their 'war rooms'.. and the press doesn't want to look at it. And yeah, many of them know what's going on...

Do you perhaps mean "that a rescue might have exposed"? The regime administration didn't get its people on the ground again onsite for weeks, after everything was 99 and 44/100ths percent picked clean.
It would be interesting to know if Stevens had accountant types working with those who picked up the pieces after the (well-supplied) rebels overthrew Kadhafi.

If no money was exchanged for MANPADS, perhap it was the promise to let 0&H! settle Kadhafi's accounts, with a promise fork-over of, say, $500B in addition to the MANPADS." The prospect of $250+B each for 0&H! would've motivated those simple thieves.
But if hostage rescuers would've actually found MANPADS and the "rest of the story" would've been documented, that would have threatened to blow 0+H!'s cover, easily.
For such money, it would (for 0&H! be just as well that all 30+ problematic staff disappear, which has now translated to their being under threat, that is, why so relatively few of them have come forward: "stayin' alive".
Congress needs to be aware of who has come into possession of Kadhafi's assets and through what process!
