During a panel discussion on the Department of Justice seizing the phone records of Fox News’ James Rosen, Bret Baier revealed that the seizure included the phone records of Rosen’s parents. The entire panel agreed the scandal was an outrage, with Kirsten Powers pointing out that there have been a number of high-profile leaks from the Obama administration, but the only ones they seem interested in going after are the ones that make them look bad.
Charles Krauthammer found it amazing that the government would make such a “huge assault on the first amendment” in trying to go after Rosen for doing his job. Baier pointed out that Rosen was never formally charged nor contacted by the government. Powers accused the Obama administration of being overconcerned with prosecuting whistleblowers while not going after leakers who reveal positive information about the administration.
Baier then highlighted documents revealing that the seized phone records also included “records [that] relate to James’ parents’ home in Staten Island.”

I wonder why American big business and Wall Street have...
absolutely NOTHING to say about protecting Constitutional rights, like the 1st, 2nd Amends, etc.
They DO promote sodomy, fornication, abortion, gubmint giveaways, etc.
Corporate HR policies, employee health insurance choices, charitable donations, products and services they sell, etc.... many of these in corporate America further those agendas.
But nothing about protecting Constitutional rights of working or taxpaying or Christian Americans. Now we’re down to political targeting of news reporters.
Hey corporate America - what do you say ? Care to speak out on this one ? Fox news is reporting it, since it was their reporter. Anyone else want to stand up for the Constitution ?
They probably prefer to simply keep Congress in their pocket; lobbyists get them whatever they want. Which, if you look at the list above... makes you wonder WHY they want those. How do they fit in corporate America’s “business model” ?
While I’m at it, what about all those “All-American” unions ? Hey union members - why not stand up for the Constitution ? Your “lifetime leaders” typically chime right in with corporate America when it comes to issues other than salary and benefits. Hmmmm ever hear of a company union ?
Note when I say corporate America, I’m basically referring to publicly-held companies and companies in the orbit of Wall Street for their ownership and financing. There are many privately-held companies whose owners (God bless them) do take stands on various Constitutional and Christian issues - and of course they get attacked by the government.

I thought a good Calvinist (I’m needling you just a trifle here) knows better than “we have to fix things ourselves.” Maybe more to the point would be to call for the Lord’s sovereign hand? If He’s not just up there in heaven figuragively casting dice to figure out the next move? (I don’t think He is... the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.)

Really seems to be trying to “leak fix” with a vengeance. Isn’t phone tapping a little archaic now that there is an internet?
Who among us is shocked. There is no bridge too far for this guy and I am somewhat concerned that as the wall of scandal starts to close in at some point Ohurl may come unwound and do something “stoopid” like declare martial law.

Time to bring that Judge to the committee hearings to or throw him off the bench!
Fox said he went to one judge who would not approve the taps, then found another who would.
He can try, and I wouldn’t put anything past him. Right now, he’s cornered.
You just know they’re doing it to Rush, Beck, Malkin and thousands of Americans who were flagged as tea party terrorists.
Nothing to do with controlling leaks.
Everything to do with controlling and intimidating the media.
