Don’t sign contracts that you don’t understand.

Yeah, I read this in the local paper while I was in the hospital waiting room yesterday waiting for a blood test.

Peter Shumlin is a typical left-wing, dirty crook. Apparently passing his health plan wasn’t enough for him.

I’d love to see Donald Trump hold a contest to decide who is the worst governor of them all. There’s an amazing number of candidates: Shumlin, Cuomo, Hickenlooper, Malloy, O’Malley, Chaffee, Jerry Brown . . . . The list goes on and on.

From Wikipedia:

On April 26, 2011, Shumlin appeared on The Rachel Maddow Show via telephone where he discussed health care reform in his state. He said he believes in health care for all and stressed repeatedly “health care is a right, not a privilege”.

On May 26, 2011, “Vermont became the first state to lay the groundwork for single-payer health care...when [Governor Shumlin] signed an ambitious bill aimed at establishing universal insurance coverage for all residents”.[10]

On August 17, 2011, Shumlin became the first sitting governor in the United States to preside over a same-sex wedding ceremony.[11]

On April 11, 2012, Shumlin was almost mauled by bears. Shumlin was chased by four bears that were raiding bird feeders on his property. Shumlin joked that Vermont “almost lost the governor,” and added that he was within “three feet of getting ‘arrrh.’”[12]

On May 16, 2012, Shumlin signed a bill in front of group of high school students who pushed for it, banning the blasting of chemical-laced water underground. The bill made Vermont became the first state to pass a such a ban, signed in front of group of high school students who pushed for it.[13]

On December 4, 2012, Shumlin was unanimously elected to serve as the chair of the Democratic Governors Association in 2013.[14]

Shumlin served on the Putney Selectboard in the 1980s and helped found Landmark College, which is located in Putney. The college was created to help people with learning disabilities gain a college education.

Shouldn't the Governor be an advocate for his state's most vulnerable? From what i've read here he has taken economic advantage of his own mentally handicapped neighbor. What kind of douchebag does this and remains in office?

I just re-read the story and noticed this bit:
“Shumlin offered up his lawyer ...”

I wonder if that lawyer acted ethically? Did he give the handicapped seller the idea that he was representing him, while he was actually representing the buyer? Maybe the lawyer is a crooked piece of filth who needs to be disbarred.
