Soft on Weiner, eh?
Versus hard Weiner coverage?
Doesn’t matter. Are people in NYC so mis-informed that they would actually elect this man? Says a lot about the voting public.
Downright flaccid.
They need to make a way to make it hard coverage. Maybe the could show Oscar Meyer Boy some of his own internet pics...
Hmm. Navel-gazing, too. What next?
The Old Grey Lady has a fixation on Weiner. Hopes he rises to the occasion.
Today, before this was posted, I wondered WHY would someone subject themself to this kind of degradation, humiliation or laughability? The answer came through my beer addled fog. SOME political organization said “You didn’t get the chance to steal as much as we wanted you to, so run for Mayor. People who remember you have forgotten and the rest will vote for you. Just keep your camera under wraps.” WHEN will we throw out the dregs of Society and elect adults?
I’m trying to muster some sympathy for the people of New York City, but it’s difficult.
I hope the people of NY elect Weiner. That way they will go from a putz to a dork.
“New York Times Public Editor, Margaret Sullivan”
For those of you who have never experienced the pain and suffering of trying to find real hard news in the Buffalo News (NY) this estrogen challenged Editor used to be the Editor of the BN. I stopped my subscription some time ago because of the excessive bias.
Letters to the editor were not just edited for length or the occasional rude terms but I know of 3 times she had my Letters to the Editor so doctored as to obliterate the original point.
I can deal with an opinion page as it is opinion but she had opinion injected in every story where it should have been hard news and just the facts.
I can only imagine how she uses the biggest tool of her trade, the “Spike”. People who tend to trust only 1 or 2 news sources never know what they don’t know as it was spiked.
WARNING to all!!!!! DO NOT TRUST THAT WOMEN EVEN IF SHE WERE ON A STACK OF BIBLES.
What I want to know is who’s Weiner’s handler.
I understand that if he decides to run for president, Weiner’s Secret Service code name will be Microsoft.
The nyt can cover him however they wish, as long as they leave a little room for any of weiner’s outbursts.
