Yes, those are all reasoned points, but for me, I'll take my chances that in a concealed carry state every perp must gamble that someone may be carrying without ever knowing who or how many. I do not want to give the perp any choices whether to wait until an open carrying person leaves or decides to take them out first. I want all, or most, of the odds in my favor.

In fact, an open carry may compel a perp into confrontation that he didn't necessarily intend whereas a concealed carry could never have that provocative stance.

The only thing I hate about concealed carry. I do look fat when I'm carrying and while it bugs me, I deal with it.

Undoubtedly you are corrrect, and what is true there is actually true here as well.

But, you will certainly get arrested here trying to open (or concealed with CCW) carry into a courthouse.

Then, good luck fighting the locals with your attorney’s......prepare to dig deep for that battle......that you are likely to lose.........
