I contacted Verizon today to ask them when my contract was up because I was not renewing (going prepaid). They asked me why and I told them “I have an issue with the government violating my right to privacy”, tho which they responded, “We have no choice but to comply with court orders”.
My response? “Well, I have a choice to use another carrier and I am going to exercise it”.
I have a feeling it’s not just Verizon though. We shall soon find out.
Every carrier has been served with this mandate.
