The only pagent I liked was Miss America, but it was always considered a scholarship contest.

If I were in her place, I could have said something about Obama’s female staff being paid less than their male counterparts. But there is no universe in which I would be a beauty contestant, so it’s moot.
That should be the stock answer to any question regarding the Senator from South Carolina.
