This has already begun, the studies are underway. They will discover that Ranger School is really a leadership course, nothing to do with physical capabilities or pushing students to and beyond their physical limits. Leadership is about sensitivity and inclusiveness, after all. So the silly little physical requirements will be set aside and Ranger students will be guided along their journeys of discover by political commissars who will teach them how to properly indoctrinate their troops - leadership don't you know.

I believe in equal pay for equal work, but I've never had any illusions about having upper body strength equivalent to that of a man my height. There are some things very few women are physically suited to perform well. That said, I never shrank from doing the physical work around a lab--I did everything the guys did, except I did it in heels and a dress.

After the requirements are translated down to admit sufficient females to attain the proper ratio of men to women the Seals and Rangers will be show groups that do demonstrations at military bases but no longer do anything harrowing in the field. Washington has delusions of replacing their functions electronically.
