Bachmann: Boehner will use ‘loophole’ to pass immigration in the House

EXCERPT

“I don’t think we have a definitive on that yet,” Bachmann said. “I think there’s still a loophole that the speaker might allow himself — that he won’t hold himself to the Hastert rule. In the shorthand, this is what I think is going to happen — the very bad bill is going to be in the Senate. We’re going to have a Trojan Horse bill that will look very good. It will look like border security in the House. Conservatives will vote for it in the House. Both bills will go to conference committee. The guts will get pulled out of the good bill. Amnesty will get put in. The Senate will pass it. It will go to the House. Nancy Pelosi will deliver all of the Democrat votes and all John Boehner has to do is deliver the committee chairs that hold the gavel.”

Bachmann taking the gloves off on bastard Boehner, better late than never.

Hope she stays a thorn in his spineless, traitorous side and even expands on it.

It seems lately, that with "leaders" like McCain, Graham, Rubio, Paul, Ryan, Boehner etc., Republicans are not only "stuck on stupid" - they keep "doubling down on stupid".

They are trying to get rid of the "icky" issues they think are hurting them with voters, so they can rhetorically "champion" the virtues of "small government" and the economic sensibilities of the "middle class" and "small business" ...

Then they wonder why they don't feel the "love" / respect or the support from the "masses" they, supposedly, represent.

If Boehner is a traitor (and he certainly is to conservatives), then all the more reason why Bachmann should have stayed. She had the highest profile on any re-elected GOP house member and she let the GOP leadership get away with bullying conservative House members after the last election. She had a responsibility to rally the Tea Party caucus into an effective and powerful counterbalance to the GOP-e, if they spoke as a unified body, but at the end of the day accomplished little. All credit to her for her personal integrity as an individual House member, but she had the opportunity to do much more.

“Really, what is the diff between the two parties now?”

Not a thin dime’s worth. They’re just flip sides of teh same coin.

I actually agree with you. She showed a lack of courage in walking.

I don't know what Boehner has on her if anything. But I suppose if you realize that you will never be allowed to accomplish anything, that you're being used as a symbol only for marketing purposes, then you may just say to hell with it all and walk away.

Both Palin and Bachmann have come up against the so-called Establishment people and clearly they are regarded as a threat, not an asset. So they got out, and are running outsider attacks on the Establishment types in both parties.

Will that ever result in Conservative victories at this late date in the Death of America?

Can't say. Worth trying though.

After a lifelong record of never voting for anyone but republicans... I will vote third party for the rest of my life... if boner allows this to pass the House.

Sarah Palin, Ted Cruz and a few others... and that is more than any other party today.

No difference,
They could care less about anything as long as they both make plenty of money.
