Bestselling author Vince Flynn has died at 47-years-old after a lengthy battle with prostate cancer, local CBS affiliate WCCO reports.
He died Wednesday morning at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, and leaves behind a wife and three children.

VF did put in the forward of one of his more recent books that he was battling cancer and that was the reason his later publications were delayed. “Last Man” and “Kill Shot” were as great as his earlier works. I see Amazon has a new book to be published Oct 10 and also a free reader’s favorite excerpts compilation.
I didn’t like Term Limits for some reason, maybe I thought that it was “dangerous” for him to introduce a violent theme on term limits. Joke’s on me.

Iodine deficiency.

Attention all men: You HAVE to start taking a very valuable mineral called iodine. We all have iodine receptors in our reproductive organs and glands, inclusive of the prostate.
The maintenance dose is 50 mg/day and the best form to take is one that has the right ratio of iodine to iodide and comes in the pill form as Iodoral or liquid as Lugol’s.

I loved his books. I was so sad to hear of his cancer only recently and even more sad now. Thanks, Vince, for many, many enjoyable hours of reading.
This is pretty shocking. Maybe the testings should be more along the lines of early 40s if we have young healthy guys dying of tumors at 47.
Obamacare is here. now it’ll be 60 and then every 10 years.
Horrible news. Will miss his novels - one of the few authors I would buy the hardcover as soon as it came out and usually work through it one weekend.
And, like my other favorite authors who have had multiple best sellers at the top of the Best seller lists, we see no movies from Hollywood- because the heros are unabashedly and unshamingly pro-American (or in the case of Daniel Silva’s Gabriel Allon - even worse- Israeli).
