If it's 110°F+ ambient air temp outside, it's got to be VERY HOT under the hood of a running or just-finished-running vehicle.
I remember driving on I-10 thru Tempe and Phoenix, back in the early-70s, stopping for gas, and the gas station's thermometer read 117°, and we were dying from the scorching heat. My '69 VW Bug didn't mind it 'cause it was air-cooled (read oil-cooled), but I had to change oil & filter in SF 'cause the oil was "cooked" from the 'cross country drive (NJ-SF).

If the DJIA gets thru tomorrow without another 300-400pt loss, it’ll come back over the next few weeks, after buyers get used to the corrupt, criminal Fed’s non-meddling in the money markets. But rates will begin to creep back up; you’re right.

Beck spoke twice. I think if you read my post again, you will see that the 200-300 addressed by Beck was at the all day "press conference" held by Rep. Steve King on the East Capitol lawn AFTER the big rally on the West Capitol lawn. In my post, I estimate attendance at that one to be 25,000.

Activism/chapters is the best place to look for anything that has to do with a current activism event, or after action reports of the same.
I check it every day, and have it right after breaking news on my sidebar.
Except for being a week day, it was a good day for the event what with the congress critters puffing up on the other side of the building, and at times before and after the IRS Audit rally.
The PTB told the IRS audit rally organizers to not let “their people” go to the immigration event.
What BS, any citizen can go to events such as that immigration event put on by Rep King of Iowa.
I couldn’t make it on that short of notice either, but then I am 3000 miles away sitting on the beach in the sun...well kinda.
