Not only did the former IRS commissioner visit the White House dozens of times during his tenure, but his chief of staff was reportedly making those visits even more frequently.
The Washington Examiner reported Friday that Jonathan M. Davis, the chief of staff for former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman, appears to have visited the White House campus up to 310 times between late 2009 and early 2013. Sources told the Examiner that Davis, who had little background in tax policy, largely served as a political aide.
It's unclear what he was doing at the White House all those times. Shulman, during a hearing on Capitol Hill last month, tried to explain his own frequent attendance at White House meetings. He said he was there for everything from policy meetings to "the Easter Egg roll with my kids."
But the sheer number of visits for Shulman -- and now his aide -- raises questions amid the fallout over the agency's practice of singling out conservative groups for additional scrutiny.

We have truly become a communist nation. The Party always has a political officer that spies/oversees on each government agency. If actions are not consistent with Party dictates, the government worker is punished in some way. Law be damned.

Good grief. I haven’t heard anything about whatever investigations or hearings were supposedly being held, so I hope this whole issue hasn’t simply disappeared.
People may be freaked out about the NSA, but that’s just an information gathering tool. What they need to be freaked out about is the agencies and individuals who use that information, particularly in the case of the IRS. Not only is the power to tax the power to destroy, but the power to run “Healthcare” (LOL!) is the power to kill individual citizens.
We should be seriously, seriously afraid of this.
Definitely. Once we retrieve control of the organs we’ll need to review all the promotions this guy and his cronies handed out and RESCIND THEM. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth at IRS over this ~ for a long time!

When you conspire illegal actions, the conspirators use face to face meetings. They did not want a paper or electronic trail.
