It was FALLIBLE and UNINSPIRING.

Which pales in comparison to the increasing number of fallible and uninspiring mushheads that are produced by outcome based public education systems.

Your personal cherry pick observation?

You must be blind to facts.

My personal experience.

If you think that’s “cherry picking” whilst worshiping your own image in the High Tech mirror, tough.

How’s that High Tech A$$paper floating?

Who owns the abandonment of the public school system?

Parents, or the lack thereof.

Yes you may have met some distasteful people. However I had hoped you were possessed of the wisdom to know your view was, indeed, limited, and would be glad, rather than defensive of your limited view, to learn that it is not at all a fair representative sample of the homeschool experience in the USA. If all the Filipinos you had known were robbers, does that mean all Filipinos in the USA are robbers, or even most of them?

I picked this name years ago and I will not cede it to snobbish cynics with false accusations.

(By the way I personally am an old-earth creationist FWIW but most young earthers know more truths about the theory of evolution and about physics than the average clueless modern American schoolboy or schoolgirl.)

I know it was self-evident that students of Lutheran Schools excelled beyond the capabilities of their public schooled peers - and know that work-product was as much due to the parents involved as it was due to the schools. Much as the inverse can be said of the public schools whose failure parents, or the selfish lack thereof, are also responsible for.

I base those opinions upon direct observation too. And I will continue to trust my own eyes and free mind over the ability of some gas bag who’s regurgitating factoids in a flaccid attempt to prop up the worship of their self.

>>I picked this name years ago

Then you’ve been worshiping your own flatulent “High Tech” image for a long time.

“And because of this, God gave them over” —Romans 1:25++

“IT” happens.

I offer my HiTech-ness and my RedNeck-ness to God the Father, in God the Son. I don’t know what you offer yourself to. But you might start with cutting the cynicality.

Education majors are taught by ultra leftist education college professors. The education majors have to toe the hardcore leftist line. Education colleges churn out leftist teachers.

Voila. We get what we get. Leftist sewage pits called public schools.

The whole "transgender" gradeschooler is a rather novel phenomenon; cooked up by leftist/homosexual agend pushers and mentally ill parents. If this or any other "transgendered" child had been raised in a normal family, I have not doubt the child would be a normal boy. This is sick child abuse.

If anyone wants on/off any of my ping lists, freepmail me.

Your sample size of observed homeschoolers is insufficient to offer a valid conclusion about the homeschooler population at large.

Yeah, and in other news the chocolate ration will be raised to 28 grams from last week’s 45.

Nothing I can disagree with there. But parental involvement is still the key to a child’s educational success.

“Oh, and Sonic the Hedgehog is still a great video game series. ;-) “

LOL.

Let us know when you’ve ported your home-schooled tonnage into the real world and out of the make believe Hedge, hog.

Of course you are correct, proper upbringing is essential. But the best upbringing can be undone by thousands of hours in public schools.

It speaks volumes that you resort to quoting a profile that I haven’t used in over eight years, back before I even held my first job.

Speaking of Pol Pot, he had people who wore glasses killed. Why? Because it was a stereotype for educated people. Makes about as much sense as your disregard for one of the most basic statistical principles.

LOL. Wobble away.

Or I’ll start quoting the STATISTICS that correlate rampant obesity with video gaming.
