How can they release a juror just for the day? The jury is supposed to consider the entire trial, every witness, their testimony and their behavior on the stand. Doesn’t make sense to let a juror out for a day and then to return, especially when the jury is sequestered.
You are right. WFTV said it was just for today but later they said they were gone for good.
