The video linked on Drudge today was very telling as the obviously illiterate 19 year old Black girl could not read the letter that she and another girl “wrote” describing the cell phone conversation with Trayvon that night. The defense attorney read the letter and it was painfully obvious from the language that neither this girl nor her likely equally illiterate girlfriend could possibly have written it. I can’t believe the prosecution would not have known the girl was illiterate and would come off looking like a fool in her testimony about the letter.

I think it depends on whether this witness can play on that guilt and it looks at the moment that West is beginning to get a rise out of her.

I haven’t had much time to watch the trial. I did see the infamous Miss Dee Dee testimony.

Question is, is the jury allowed to convict on any lesser charges other than Murder 2?

If they can, I forsee a possible Involuntary Manslaughter conviction. Only as a way to placate the mobs in Sanford. I am sure there will be riots either way.

I don’t believe GZ is guilty, but I do believe he won’t get off because of the political aspects in this case.
