With our courts as screwed up as they are, I don’t see any situation developing where foreigners remain here and don’t get some sort of pathway to citizenship. Some judge will say that’s inhuman, and sets up a second class resident situation. It will be struck down just like DOMA was. Who are they trying to kid? We’re not that stupid.

Yes, I have posted the same concern on some thread. If the House passes such a bill ("comprehensive" but without a path-to-citizenship), maybe the best possible outcome would be that the house and senate can't agree on any bill and give up. Obama, and of course the media, are ready to escalate the demagoguery in that case.

Chris Hayes again points out something you wont hear on FNC.

He pointed out how as soon as this bill passed McCain and Grahamnesty jumped on camera to rejoice and demand the House pass the bill.

But he says ‘where's Rubio? He has suddenly disappeared”

Yep, the Senate bill isnt going over well with the House GOP. Total piece of crap. Time for Rubio to hide for a while

They also pointed out how if Dems want the house to pass immigration they best tell McCain and Grahmnesty to shut up because they make many in the house GOP want to do the opposite to spite them. Insightful for sure.

I heard this one on CSPAN radio this morning from a DC reporter, that is all I know about it :
They said the house would/will vote on a number separate immigration bills individually such that its not one big circle j..k of bribes and deals as with comprehensive anything. Each one is judged on its own .
, each bill requiring a slim majority of Rs w enough Dems (almost equal) to pass, and we see how difficult that is to get.

Then anything that gets though that gets put into a single bill that goes to conference.

Bohner’s on public record assuring that he wont take a conference negotiated bill to House Dems to pass as with VAWA. I doubt he will backtrack on that, but that place is crazy so hopefully you wont find this comment again if he does HA-HA.

Did I mention that Ryan is a a$$whipe?? Today?? He always gave me that feeling I got when the Kerby vaccuum salesman did giving me the sales pitch, although Rubio is much more aggressive than him in sales for sure. really dangerous.

That’s what I’m hoping for, no bill at all.

Simply enforce the laws we have on the books now.

Stiffer border protection...
Employer sanctions...
Interior enforcement...
