“Creepy ass cracker”. And no, that’s not a racist term.

Besides the testimony of Jeantel (because that’s a whole story in and of itself) I think neighbor, Jonathan Good’s testimony was the most riveting...his description of the “person on the bottom being of lighter skin” and his testimony that GZ’s jacket was wetter on the back with pieces of grass...along with GZ’s jeans being wetter on the back...not good at all for the prosecution...he was their witness and then they tried to impeach him...it was a most interesting day to me...

I like it when Bernie and MiniMe both tried to stand on the box in front of the judge at the same time. We had a setup like that when my kid brother was little, we called it the tinkle stool.

Then, at about 11AM yesterday Bernie basically went bonkers for a while and it looked like he might attack a witness.

Most memorable... sooooo many.

Most obvious - Miss Dee Dee/aka Rachel Jeantel/ aka Diamond Eugene/ and who knows how many others... eye-rolling, mumbling, lying, and saying “Yes Sir” dripping with sarcasm.

Can’t name a single state witness that didn’t help the defense in some way.

As expected, John was the most convincing and the only *real* eye-witness to some of what happened.

Oh.... must not forget the *state’s* witness that admitted she signed a petition for TM and liked his support page on Facebook. That was handled almost like a Perry Mason moment!!

Can’t wait to see what stood out to everyone else.....

My favorite witnesses:

5 June 25 Wendy Dorival Sanford Police, former neighborhood watch coordinator

~~ She testified Z did not volunteer for a COP program

12 June 26–27 Rachel Jeantel “Witness 8,” last person on phone with Trayvon

~~ The States “Star” witness? Hoo Boy!

17 June 28 Jonathan Good Neighbor, saw “MMA-style” struggle

~~~~ He was the most credible eye witness. He was believable.
I’d have to say Jonathan Manalo provided a great deal of value to Zimmerman, not so much for his testimony, but for taking the pictures of his injuries.
They need to hang a sign around the neck of each witness as to which side they’re supposed to be testifying for, cuz it’s been pretty hard to tell.
Just make sure they are printed, not cursive.
If Stalinist-style travesties of justice can be "memorable," I'd have to nominate the "I can't read cursive" claim for the Most Memorable Marxist Accomplishment award. Stupid, antagonistic, racist, and proud of itself: even syphillitic old Lenin would probably crack a smile.
You are absolutely right! Those have been very effective .... as they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words! Some people criticize people with their cell phones taking photos of everything... but in this case it has helped GZ immensely.
I liked the moment when Jenna Lauer told how many tweets she’d made.
“ZERO!!”
Priceless
This trial is certainly an example of both double standards in this country and definitely the decline of public education.
Mark Fuhrman said the prosecutors look angry and he thinks they were forced to prosecute this case.
I wonder if this is not all for show and they’re trying not to win. Zimmerman is found not guilty then the state can say “We tried. And even a black woman voted not guilty.”
I hope I’m right. Then Zimmerman can write a book and be compensated.
Judge: well let’s wrap up for today. how much more time do you need with this witness (DeeDee) ?
Defense Attorney Don West: at least a couple more hours...
DeeDee: WHAT!?
I want to know how Selma Mora doesn’t tip over when she stands up.
Other than that, I think the whole country is just in love with the petite, bright, beautiful Rachel Jeantel. She just has baby mamma written all over her.
The letters “MMA” and their meaning “mixed martial arts” were used by witnesses in the trial. If I were the defense, I’d demand the court allow use of Trayvon’s Cell Phone and any Twitter/Facebook accounts that showed any correlation to this phrase. It would show a possible demeanor by the ‘deceased’ as one of confrontation and skill.
Especially the dismal failure of public education. I have been *so* discouraged to read (on other forums) adults excusing her language, her behavior, etc. "That's just how teenagers talk these days!" What a sad admission. MY teenagers (now early 20's) didn't and DO NOT talk that way and neither do their friends...(which btw include AA, Hispanic, and Korean friends. )
I think she calls it “curses”
She “can’t read curses”
Her mom is from Haiti, the land of voodoo, and she “can’t read curses”.
LOL
The 1st police officer, Tim Smith. West asked him about what he thought was going on in Z’s mind after the shooting. Prosecuter immediately objected, said it called for speculation. West then asked Smith if he knew what was going on in Z’s mind leading up to the incedent, another objection, called for speculation.
I thought the entire prosecution case was based on speculation. Surely the jury picked up on this.
Overall, I’d say the prosecution didn’t do well yesterday.
I think Laz is down in SoFlo as we FReep trying to hit on that double wide neck of hers. That and those court nails of hers are enough to send any man to wanaa bunga bunga with all that.
