the big problem is Martin should have stayed away from the CAC.....he should have just gone home....he pushed his luck and went after the CAC...the CAC was shorter, out of shape, and no match for the young lean football player/fighter....the CAC pulled his gun to defend himself....

in no way do I want men roaming my streets at night in a rainstorm with a gun following people....at the same time, that neighborhood was not really Martin's....he was up to mischief, and the whole thing ended miserably...

too bad the supposed adults in this tragedy had to make it even worse......there are NO WINNERS period....even though the Martin family got a nice payout for some reason.

You’re right. Heaven forbid that brave men should try to protect their fellow citizens.

“TM was up to no good that night”

There is no way you could know that. Just because he had a sorted poss does not mean at every waking hour he would be up to no good. GZ was stupid for confronting someone he did not know. What IF TM had been carrying a gun and GZ was the one killed? And look what the outcome for GZ has been to date: for not waiting on the cops to show up and for confronting TM, GZ has messed up his life royally. Even if he stays out of jail, he in no way will have the kind of live he would have had if he had just stayed in the truck. And is will not be TM fault GZ’s life will be meesed up, it will be his own fault.
