Two high-profile senators on Sunday continued to admonish Russia for not handing over Edward Snowden, the leaker of National Security Agency secrets who's hiding in Russia as he seeks asylum in Ecuador.
Republican Sen. John McCain said Snowden's actions amounted to a "slap in the face to the United States" and called President Vladimir Putin "an old colonel KGB apparatchik" who "dreams of the restoration of the Russian Empire."

Thanks, onyx. It’s galling to me that back stabbing jerks like McCain are taken seriously after all the malicious things they have done. I guess we are all supposed to just forget about those things because they were never held to account for them. I can’t do it. Slime like McCain and Schumer have nothing to say to me.

Here’s the 20 countries that Snowden has applied for asylum:
Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Cuba, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Ireland, The Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, Poland, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Venezuela, Ecuador
I believe that he has also applied to Iceland and Iran.

Yeah. Sorta like WE dream of restoring the United States of America to a Constitutional Republic.

Two high-profile members of the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union on Sunday continued to admonish America for not handing over Edwardski Snowdenski, the leaker of KGB Committee for State Security secrets who's hiding in America as he seeks asylum in Venezuela.
Politburo Central Committee member Nikolai Podgorny said Snowdenski's actions amounted to a "slap in the face to the USSR" and called President Ronald Reagan "an old cold warrior" who "dreams of destroying the USSR."
To: WilliamIII
I remember when I was in elementary school; my teachers taught me that the soviet union was evil because they attempted to spy on and control everything that their citizens did.
These days, the U.S. government is doing the same things I was taught to fear, and the Russian government is doing things that I respect (outlawing homosexual propaganda).
I'm conflicted.
