You got it — it’s pretty chickenstuff.
It’s an indication that the persecution is a) flustered and b) not really all that professional. If they were good, they’d realize just what you said and let it roll off.
The scary part is that I can see this run amok judge stooping so low as to use it to beat up on the defense team. More appeal ammunition, sure, but it’s not like they aren’t sitting on a whole case full of ammo.
Naw. the prosecution can't be that stupid..unless there is collusion between them and the judge and MOM is not given an opportunity to introduce other character witnesses.
I fully expect this "judge" to disallow the Defense to introduce character evidence, even after an outburst like that from the Persecution. She's been very biased so far, so why stop now? Collusion is a probability, the way things have gone in this trial.
