We act as if there isn't political power and agenda that is very specifically racial in this nation. How about we do away with all of that and then revisit this issue? Think that most blacks would want to do that?
I know that I view blacks as more racist.
“More Americans View Blacks As Racist Than Whites, Hispanics...” That’s racist! /sarc.
>>The word racist is such an ambiguous word.
The blacks defined the word a long time ago. Using their definition, they have finally acheieved the power to oppress and a sense of superiority over other races, so they are indeed racist by their own definition.
By the same definition, most whites lack the power to oppress anymore, so we cannot be racist (by the black definition) anymore.
Let’s end once and for all the idea of a “race card.”
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
More Americans are correct. The last six years have not helped any either.
They should do a poll on antisemitism. It will be enlightening considering the preponderance of famous black antisemites.
I believe that with the “immaculation/inauguration” of the self-agrandized Obama, posing as ‘Nimrod of old’, yes, the stated U.S. Census 15% population of Negroes in America, have been more open in their racist ideologies, and hatred to all but other Negroes, than they have been in the past.
I’d really like to see the numbers for how many blacks think blacks are racist.
Published polls are simply journalisms way of reporting the attitudes that journalism itself has, by and large, created. After the Zimmerman murder trial, Zimmerman will be prosecuting its suit against NBC. NBC negotiated that assuming that Zimmerman would be convicted and they would get off scot free. But
The crying need of the nation is for the breakup of Big Journalism, by which I mean wire service journalism, by which I mean - primarily but not exclusively - the Associated Press. The very name tells you that the members of the AP are not independent but associated. The AP newswire is a virtual meeting of all major American journalism outlets, and it has been in continuous operation for a century and a half.
- with the prosecution about to rest, it has yet to produce one witness who did its case more good on direct than he/she did good for the defense on cross, and
- logically, it is possible to libel someone even if they are guilty of a crime - and it is patent NBC did libel Zimmerman.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations (Book I, Ch 10)That is the writing of Adam Smith that liberals love to quote - but it fits the Associated Press like a glove, and is a prefect description of the effect of the AP. Zimmerman should expand his lawsuit to include the AP and its members individually, and the FCC for promoting the broadcasting of wire service journalism. He should sue for triple damages under RICO, and he should win a judgement which would give us some real hope, and give journalism some real change.Journalism should be forced to give as much time or space to each crime by black criminal defendants as it does to each crime by white criminal defendants. Including the amount of emphasis it applies to the race of the defendants. And the FCC should be ordered to enforce that requirement, on pains of being required to give a broadcast license (taken from each of the networks in proportion as they libeled Zimmerman) in every major city to George Zimmerman.
Hope and change, baby!
