A nation of privileged men, not laws.

Do you think this is bad, good, or neutral?

We can’t grow it but can import it. I bought some hemp rope at Walmart.

Hemp at one time was a very important product in early America, Jefferson had a large hemp operation and I think he even wrote about smoking hemp.

Until the anti-capitalists came in to power it was grown all over the country.

I do not some hemp but the government needs to get out of people’s lives.

I almost cut my hair
It happened just the other day
It was gettin’ kinda long
I could-a said, it was in my way
But I didn’t and I wonder why
I feel like letting my freak flag fly
And I feel like I owe it to someone

Let's call out this sly, in-our-faces scenario for what it is....."Hemping for legalization"....or, "never let a golden opportunity, even a flag on the Fourth, go to waste".

BTW, has the Great Pretender returned to DC for our country's birthday, or is he still overseas promising million$ of our tax dollar$ to third-world dictator$ ?

I like the hemp flag. The whole idea of drug laws is to protect people from themselves. I am sick of it. Trying to (unsuccessfully) save them is destroying my liberties. I will give them $1/day to go to a 12 step meeting. That has everything they need to get straight. Other than that, let them ruin their lives. I am done caring.

From what I've heard, hemp was an important crop for our founders.

Given it's many uses, it's more likely the flag pole rope was made from hemp, but the flag could have been also.

I think the last time hemp was officially mass cultivated was in WW-2 for rope and probably other industrial uses as well in support of the war effort, but we've declared war on it since.

Considering how many valuable things each contain and uses plants like hemp and tobacco offer, it's interesting how we only focus on what we want to and ignore the rest.

How great the ignorance to automatically reject what one knows nothing about? And, then force others to abide by that ignorance and/or those fears?

"Mind your business," as Franklin said.

Industrial hemp–which is considered by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to be a Schedule I substance along with ecstasy and heroin...

Anybody here smoking or shooting up industrial hemp or rope lately?? MAYBE somebody will roll up this American Flag like a doobie....then smoke IT.

*snicker*

Hand out rolling papers and tell the crowd that the flag is made of pot... stand back and watch it burn baby!
