INTERACTIVE NYC HOMOCIDE MAP
NYTimes ^ | Unknown | NY Tmes

The link is to an interactive map that allows you to select sex of perp, sex of victim, rase of perp and victim, weapon used, etc. As can be plainly seen, black males make up a tiny minority of the population bit commit a huge percentage of the crimes. My personal theory is that in many cases the stable father figure has been replaced by the temporary mommy's boyfriend and by a criminal gang.

A lot of crimes were committed with a gun. I thought NY had strict gun laws!

Proves what I’ve been saying - the left deliberately leaves guns in the hands of the criminals while trying to take them from honest, non-violent people.

It’s good to see that our little sanctuary here in NY is still “dot free”. We have had a couple of homicides through the years (about 10 in the last 50), but not bad for a Bronx neighborhood.

Yes, such as the white on black rape allegations in the Duke lacrosse case. It became a sensationalized cause celebre for liberals. The fact that it was all fabricated has never been acknowledged, to my knowledge, by the Sharptons and Jacksons of the world.

Homicides in NYC 2003 - 2011

Committed by:

Blacks 61%
Hispanics 29%
Whites 7%
Asians 3%

And some people have a problem with racial profiling for obvious savings on city resources because....???

Didn’t even think City Island. I usually liken the Island to Greenport, not The Bronx. All you’d need is a place to have Long Island wines for tasting.

Ahhh, Greenport. Spent every summer of my youth there, even went to Camp Quinipet on Shelter Island. Hmmmmm, wonder how many grapes I could grow in my lil back yard ;)
